Is Mondae worth it? What to weigh besides its low price

Mondae charges $126 a month for compounded tirzepatide on a 1-month plan. Here’s what NexLife’s one flat price adds to a price like that.

  • A low price. Tirzepatide is $126 and semaglutide $87 on a 1-month plan, from $114 and $69 on its 3- and 6-month plans, per its pages.

What do Mondae reviews and complaints say?

Trustpilot gave Mondae 3.4 out of 5 from 330 reviews on November 1, 2026, on a profile it claimed in July 2026. Its AI summary says reviewers find ordering straightforward and support professional, while some report orders that hadn’t shipped after two weeks. Switching

How do you switch from Mondae and keep your price?

  1. Keep a recent Mondae receipt.

One from the last 60 days shows your regular monthly price: the number we match.†

  2. Read your vial.

Write down the medicine, your weekly dose in milligrams and the strength printed on the vial.

  3. Answer a few questions online.

It takes about 3 minutes. A NexLife provider looks at your history and the dose you’re on now.

  4. Stay on your dose if it suits you.

Your provider continues it or adjusts it with you, and the price doesn’t change with the dose.

Alternatives

What are the alternatives to Mondae?

We list our own plan first because NexLife publishes this guide; the other programs follow, with what each is best for.

  • NexLife

Our plan: named pharmacies and a price that holds.

Keep a price close to Mondae’s and add the names: bring a Mondae receipt from the past 60 days, and we match that regular monthly price.† Without a match, tirzepatide runs $139 a month on the 12-month plan or $169 month to month, and semaglutide $119 or $139, one of the most affordable in our GLP-1 price index, with two named pharmacies, a named medical director and a 24/7 phone line.

  • PreventiveMD

Best for no membership, month to month.

If you want no membership, consultation or cancellation fees, and a card charged only after a provider approves: tirzepatide at $139 and semaglutide at $119, month to month and the same at every dose, per its site (checked November 1, 2026).

  • LillyDirect or NovoCare

Best if you want FDA-approved, brand-name medicine.

For an FDA-approved medicine instead of a compounded one: LillyDirect sells Zepbound from $299 per 28 days, and NovoCare the Wegovy pill from $149 a month. The price covers the medication only; you bring your own prescriber.

In their words

What does the FDA say about checking a program like Mondae?

Three FDA lines behind this review’s cons and switching steps: where a prescription should be filled, who oversees the pharmacy, and why vial strengths differ.

Mondae says licensed U.S. pharmacies dispense its medicines but names none on the pages we read, so ask which one fills yours.

“Patients should obtain a prescription from their doctor and fill the prescription at a state-licensed pharmacy.”

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, FDA’s Concerns with Unapproved GLP-1 Drugs Used for Weight Loss

Once you have the pharmacy’s name, the FDA explains which regulator to check first.

“Generally, state boards of pharmacy have primary responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of state-licensed pharmacies that are not registered with FDA as outsourcing facilities.”

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Compounding and the FDA: Questions and Answers

The switching steps ask for the strength printed on your Mondae vial, because the same dose can take a different volume from another pharmacy.

“Product concentrations also may vary depending on the compounder, and a single compounder may offer multiple concentrations of compounded semaglutide products.”

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, FDA alerts health care providers, compounders and patients of dosing errors associated with compounded injectable semaglutide products

Vial math

How many units is your tirzepatide or semaglutide dose?

On a compounded vial, the units depend on its strength. Here are the label doses at example strengths, with the math to check your own.

Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide doses on Zepbound’s label, with the volume and units on a U-100 syringe at an example strength of 25 mg per mL; your vial’s label decides
DosemL at 25 mg/mLUnits (U-100)On the label
2.5 mg0.1 mL10 unitsStarting dose, for 4 weeks
5 mg0.2 mL20 unitsA maintenance dose
7.5 mg0.3 mL30 unitsA step up
10 mg0.4 mL40 unitsA maintenance dose
12.5 mg0.5 mL50 unitsA step up
15 mg0.6 mL60 unitsThe maximum, and a maintenance dose

The math: mL = dose ÷ strength (mg per mL), and units = mL × 100. At 25 mg/mL, 10 mg is 10 ÷ 25 = 0.4 mL, or 40 units.

Semaglutide

Semaglutide dose steps from the Wegovy label, with the volume and units on a U-100 syringe at two example strengths, 2.5 mg/mL and 5 mg/mL
WeeksWeekly doseAt 2.5 mg/mLAt 5 mg/mL
1 to 40.25 mg0.1 mL (10 units)0.05 mL (5 units)
5 to 80.5 mg0.2 mL (20 units)0.1 mL (10 units)
9 to 121 mg0.4 mL (40 units)0.2 mL (20 units)
13 to 161.7 mg0.68 mL (68 units)0.34 mL (34 units)
17 onward2.4 mg0.96 mL (96 units)0.48 mL (48 units)

The math: mL = dose ÷ strength (mg per mL); units = mL × 100. At 2.5 mg/mL, 1 mg is 1 ÷ 2.5 = 0.4 mL, or 40 units. At 5 mg/mL, the same 1 mg is 0.2 mL, or 20 units.

25 mg per mL is an example only: it’s the strength of the 15 mg multi-dose vial on Zepbound’s label (15 mg per 0.6 mL). Read the strength on your own vial’s label; your provider sets your dose, in steps at least 4 weeks apart. Every step: the tirzepatide dosage chart. Both strengths are examples only. The same dose is a different number of units at a different strength, so read the strength on your own vial’s label. Your prescription sets your dose and schedule, which may differ from these label steps. Every step: the semaglutide dosage chart.

Is Mondae a legit company?

It’s a telehealth platform that says licensed U.S. clinicians prescribe and licensed U.S. pharmacies dispense (read November 1, 2026). Its pages name no pharmacy or prescriber, and it doesn’t charge until a physician approves treatment (checked November 1, 2026). Its 3.4 from 330 Trustpilot reviews (November 1, 2026) is a small sample for judging how reputable it is.

What do Mondae GLP-1 reviews say?

Trustpilot doesn’t score its GLP-1s separately. Across Mondae’s 330 reviews, rated 3.4 out of 5 on November 1, 2026, Trustpilot’s summary says ordering is straightforward and support professional, while some orders hadn’t shipped after two weeks. At NexLife, orders usually leave the pharmacy within 1 to 2 business days, with free shipping.

Does Mondae have a membership fee?

No. Mondae’s treatment pages say “No membership fees” and list compounded tirzepatide at $126 a month and semaglutide at $87 (checked November 1, 2026). Its FAQ says your rate stays the same as long as your membership remains active. NexLife has no membership fee either, and its price is the same at every dose.

Does Mondae charge more at higher doses?

No. Mondae’s FAQ says your per-month price doesn’t increase with your dose, even when your provider changes it: $126 a month for compounded tirzepatide and $87 for semaglutide (checked November 1, 2026). NexLife’s price doesn’t change with the dose either: tirzepatide is $139 a month on a 12-month plan and $169 month to month.

Does Mondae have a phone number?

We didn’t find one. Mondae’s treatment pages show a contact-support link and an email address but no phone number (checked November 1, 2026). At NexLife, real people answer 24/7 at (949) 818-8000, by call or text, and physicians are available during clinical hours.

Is Mondae cheaper than NexLife?

Yes, by its listed prices: Mondae’s compounded tirzepatide is $126 a month (checked November 1, 2026), against NexLife’s $139 a month on the 12-month plan or $169 month to month. If you switch from Mondae with an active prescription, we match your regular monthly price.† Other low prices are in our guide to the cheapest compounded tirzepatide.

Can I switch from Mondae to NexLife and keep my price?

Yes. Send a Mondae receipt from the last 60 days, and a NexLife provider reviews your history and dose. With our Price Match Guarantee†, we match your regular all-in monthly price for as long as your plan stays active, at every dose. Here’s how switching GLP-1 providers works.

How do you cancel Mondae?

We couldn’t find out. Mondae’s cancellation terms weren’t on the pages we read, and its support is by email only, with no phone number (checked November 1, 2026). At NexLife, you cancel by email, and it takes effect 30 days after we receive it. Plans renew until you cancel.

What pharmacy does Mondae use?

The pages we read don’t name one. Mondae says licensed U.S. pharmacies dispense its medicines, so ask which one fills yours. NexLife names both of its state-licensed 503A partner pharmacies: Absolute Pharmacy (Lutz, FL) and Boudreaux’s New Drug Store (Lake Charles, LA).

Does Mondae cost less on a longer plan?

Yes. Tirzepatide is $126 a month on Mondae’s 1-month plan and $114 on 6 months; semaglutide is $87 and $69 (read November 1, 2026). It also offers a 3-month plan. At NexLife, the 12-month plan is $139 a month for tirzepatide and $119 for semaglutide.

Important safety information

Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved, and the FDA hasn’t reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider prescribes them only when they offer a significant difference for you compared with an FDA-approved product. Both medicines may cause thyroid tumors, including cancer: don’t use either if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Read the full safety information

In studies with rodents, both medicines caused thyroid tumors; it isn’t known whether they cause them in people. Tell your provider if you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Serious side effects can include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, and a faster heart rate. Tell your care team before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Don’t combine either medicine with other GLP-1 medicines.

Tirzepatide can make birth control pills less effective: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after you start and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Both medicines may harm an unborn baby. Semaglutide should be stopped at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Tell your provider right away if you’re pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.

This is a summary, not the complete safety information. Read the full Prescribing Information for FDA-approved tirzepatide (Zepbound) and semaglutide (Wegovy), and talk with your provider. You can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or fda.gov/medwatch.

“No. A generic drug is approved by FDA under 505(j) of the FD&C Act and meets all of the requirements of that section (including establishing therapeutic equivalence to a brand name drug, among others), while a compounded drug is not approved by FDA.”
